High temperature can be used in two ways.
1) Moist heat
2) Dry heat
Moist heat has four subtypes
- Steam under pressure,
- Fractional sterilization/Tyldallization,
- Boiling water,
- Pastuerization.
Dry heat has two subtypes
- Hot air oven,
- Incineration.
